I recently came across a lady called Elizabeth Dunn who is a happiness researcher 😊, she says we have evolved to find joy in helping others but that it matters how we do it. She believes that our happiness comes from seeing what our charitable donations help to achieve.
Gary was asked to give Brian at Daft as a Brush a hand setting up for VJ Day so me and Sophie went along to help.
August has seen £684.14 added to the fundraising pot for my St Oswald’s trek to Vietnam. My lovely friend Di asked for donations instead of gifts are her birthday celebrations and myself and some amazing friends Sara, Sam, Susanne and Brian did a bag pack. Look at the colour of my hands after counting all the cash 🤣
