First fundraiser – trek – Deborah Kenyon

So when I was chatting to Jo from the barn a couple of weeks ago about signing up for the trek, she said why don’t you do a raffle at the barns 10th birthday party 🥳. Great I think, brilliant, then I realise that I only have 2 weeks to get prizes and sell tickets.

Roll on 2 weeks and last night was party night, thanks to everyone’s generosity with donation of prizes and buying of raffle tickets there is now £971.70 going into the pot for St Oswald’s Hospice, I’m absolutely blown away. I never dreamed it would raise so much, thank you to everyone who got involved.

I have to give a huge thanks to Lesley for selling tickets on the night, Ruth for being ‘caller’ and Mary for organising and running heads or tails, and a huge thanks to Jo for suggesting it in the first place.
