The next challenge

This year I am doing the Northumberland Mighty Hike for Macmillan and I have just signed up to do a trek in Vietnam for St Oswald’s Hospice in October 2024.

The trek in Vietnam is without doubt the biggest challenge I’ve taken on, I need to raise £3900 and this is where the blog stems from as a way of keeping people updated and trying to rally support.

I am really looking forward to it but also very apprehensive. Part of the challenge is working in a palliative care unit in Vietnam for two days helping with jobs such as painting and gardening, I think although very rewarding this will be mentally challenging.

I’ve just started planning some fundraising activities and will keep you posted.
